THE DEALERS
Garage rock trio: raw, urgent and wild, bringing this stomp beat strip down music provided by a simple drum kit and one guitar, the Dealers also counts with a furious lead singer who makes sure of the pandemonium on top of this brains salad surgery!
The Dealers are : Mayra (vocals), Mari ( Guitars and Vocals) and Vinhão ( Drums), since 2004 knocking the back doors of several clubs and every little hell that has electricity around. All we need is a drumbeat, a single riff and boom, you got music baby! Missing old times? The kind of music you could change in a second by turning one little note around, but the question is, why you should do it , why we should ask for more if those girls already gave us the entire packet, not in velvet or something soft, but trapped on barbed wire turning your ice cold attitude into something else, into pure and straight good energy.
With a brand new full legend contaning 10 killer tracks The Dealers attack again, after two days of celebration and recording sessions drove by the magical hands of Luis Tissot AKA The Fabulous Go – Go Boy From Alabama, and and a little help from Mr. Marco Butcher, ‘There´s no Dead End’ was born Unique in all senses making you feel good from the top of your head getting down to your toes.

BACKSEAT DRIVERS
A stripdown Trio Coming from São Paulo, Brazil, city of Rebels and Grables! Primitive music could fits perfect this band if the subject could be just keeps it into a real simple level, but the matter of fact is that this band got so much more to offer than only a garage blah blah blah settle down in lazy magazines articles. The thing here is wild, real and fast, three little bombs ready to explode in your face brothers and sisters, three little revolutions ready to scape from this ultimate Cage, screaming and crying the blues and the trash the cut and the gash, the real meaning of ROCK& ROLL.
Playing around since 2001, The Backseat Drivers already gave to the world couple of little reasons to belive in music, music that makes you swing and slide, music to blow your mind, to take your senses and mix it to your primal needs like the air we need to breathe. Luis, Guitar and vocals, Raphael, Bass guitar and vocals and Fernando, Drums and vocals are the kings of Trash, three young maniacs who took as a flag the idea of rock music and changed it completely, giving us something else, something to consider which is the fact that rock & roll is still kicking high no matter what! In “And We Are Not In Kansas Anymore”, the debut álbum, you easily could check some of they´re influences that go from Bo Didley to the Black Flag in a second, the soul and the fury in one single punch, showing that the smashing sweat valsa has just begun.

SWAMPMEAT
The infamous SwampMeat duo was born back in late 2006, after Danny C aired some of his tales of heartbreak and woe to Stevie Copter who was convinced there was something in the SwampMeat sound.
Several early mornings, bleary eyes and empty bottles later, and with brother T-Bird, throwing down the backbeat, SwampMeat’s debut longplayer “Double Dutch & Moonshine” was born.
Not only have the band release this triumph of record on the illustrious Coldrice label (home to the likes of Copter, the Big Bang and Black Mekon), but 2007 saw them share a stage with the likes of Piney Gir, Dan Sartain, The Dexateens and Ladyfingers to name but a few.
In the same year, Swampemat also hit the US. Playing two storming shows in both New York and Philadelphia and also saw 2008 in with a momentous NYE show at Londom’s Bloomsburry Bowling Lanes. The band have continued to wow audiences worldwide throughout this year and played a storming set at SXSW picking up even more US fans, gaining extensive radio play and now look likely to appear on the soundtrack of next year’s MTV second Dirty Sanchez Movie.
With new bass player “B-Steady” (Big Bang’s Matt Symth) now joining the live line up, SwampMeat intend to finish second album ‘Camp Heartbreak’ very soon and hit the road promoting all new hits like ‘Brand New Cadillac’.
Combining the simplicity and truth of the most honest country music and the roughness and urgency of the most poignant blues, SwampMeat are all about the true appeal of songs when it is stripped bare, just like it used to be.

THE DEAD ROCKS
After the undeniable success of their debut album International Brazilian Surfs released in 2005 and considered by many one of the best surf music records in the history of Brazilian music, now it hits the stores all over Brazil, through Monstro Discos and nationally distributed by Tratore the THE DEAD ROCKS - One Million Dollar Surf Band album.
But the path between those two records wasn’t short; the band has suffered changes in its formation, 4 new songs have been released in 7’’ vinyl format in the Tiki Twist EP, the band participated in important Portugal and Germany compilations, in 2005 they performed a 30 concert tour through Europe, passing by France, Germany, Belgium and Italy and back to Brazil, a tour with the masked guitarist Daddy-o Grande, from American instrumental rock band Los Straitjackets.
Through the years they have conquered audiences in over 10 Brazilian states where they have performed concerts, always bringing the best of the surf music with a concert of great artistic and musical impact.
One Million Dollar Band has recently been released in Europe during the second tour of the group through the old continent; they performed 9 concerts in Italy and 7 in France, in a total of 16 extremely successful concerts.
The album was recorded during the year of 2007 in three sessions in the LE BOOT studio. The studio, owned by guitarist Cesar Botinha, warranted the use of vintage equipments and the necessary attention demanded by the timbers of surf music.
Being a surf-guitar record, the most different 50’s and 60’s sonorities have been explored, from the respected Gibson 335 used by jazz artists to the blues sound of the Fender Stratocaster, meeting halfway there the Brazilian vintages Giannini Supersonic and Phelpa Coronado, all spiced up with the peculiar sound of the DiPinto guitars and basses, north-american sponsor of the band.
To mix the tracks, which were captured live, nobody other than Jack Endino was recruited, a Seattle producer known worldwide for his work beside bands such as Nirvana, Screaming Trees, L7, Mudhoney and the Brazilian Titãs. After the mixing process with Pro-Tools system and the use of analog system peripherals the album was mastered in California by surf music specialists Phil Dirt and Adan Myers.
The record brings 14 new compositions of the band, which have influences of the most different styrands of instrumental surf music and also references and techniques of rockabilly, country, “jovem guarda” and of course, rock ‘n’ roll.
Containing 16 tracks, the album brings versions of 2 big hits: O Milionário, huge classic of the “Jovem Guarda” movement of the 60’s and País Tropical, national success by Jorge Ben.
The edition in digipack format, paper cover that foregoes the traditional plastic case, neutralized the emissions of Greenhouse Gases from its production, as a result of the partnership of the band and the non-governmental organization Iniciativa Verde, who has been neutralizing the most different products and events through reforestation.
As all of the other band’s releases, One Million Dollar Band will be available for full download in mp3/ogg format under Creative Commons license.

THE UNCLE BUTCHER AND HIS ONEMAN BAND
This band is about Uncle Butcher trying to translate the blues in his own style. The primitive music has been around for decades and now Down South brings the spirit and the rawness of that thing. Some people think the blues music is kind of dead, but the thing is: the Blues Music keeps itself away from the spotlight. With the base drum and a slide guitar Uncle Butcher plays his own music like a wild preacher screaming and singing loud and proud. In the past, the old society used to be scared of the Blues singers just because they sang about whiskey, prostitutes and the Devil. In his new album titled "The Chicken Album",
"O Lendário Chucrobillyman" shows us new musical compositions fully based in the
Brasilian country acoustic guitar sonority called “viola” introducing something about "The Chicken Style".
The Chicken Style or “O estilo da Galinha” in Portuguese speaking, it’s a kind of style based in the way of delta blues players mixed with the style of the brazilian viola players so the 10 string
viola sonority came by itself.
All the songs were arranged and composed with a percussive concern, in this way the percussion
was composed by pieces of rubish like oil cans, washboards, cardboard boxes,
a garbage can as a bassdrum, kitchen pans, and scrapmetal.
